Ingredients

  • 1 loaf country bread
  • 1/2 lb of swiss cheese grated or sliced
  • 1/2 lb of provolone cheese grated or sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped deli ham
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped deli chicken
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 TSP garlic salt
  • 1 TSP Italian seasonings

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cut bread one direction 1 inch apart and turn the loaf 90 degrees and cut in one inch slices, making sure to never cut all the way through the bread.
  • Melt butter, olive oil, garlic salt, and Italian seasonings on stove top in small sauce pan
  • Distribute the butter mixture in between each square piece of the bread
  • Take a slice of provolone cheese and Swiss cheese and put in between each square piece of bread.
  • Then stuff the ham and chicken mixture in between each square of bread.
  • Cover the loaf of bread completely with foil without the foil touching the top of the loaf. You can use 2 pieces of foil if needed
  • Cook for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes open foil so the top of the loaf is no longer covered and cook for another 10 minutes until all the cheese is melted.
