Easy Crostini
This Easy Crostini recipe is so simple and the perfect addition to your party appetizer selection which pairs perfect with brushetta.

- 1 french baguette
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1/4 TBSP Coarse salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Slice the french baguette bread in 1/4 inch slices
Take a large sheet pan and lay flat all the slices of bread
Brush each slice with olive oil
Sprinkle coarse salt over the sliced bread and flip over each slice of bread
Brush the other side with olive oil and sprinkle with salt
Bake for 7 minutes and pull out bread and flip each slice and put back in the oven for another 7 minutes or until the bread has a nice golden color
- Day old bread works the best, but using day of bread works too
- If you want longer slices, slice them at an angel
- Use coarse salt instead of regular table salt
- For even toasting flip the bread half way through cooking
- Keep an eye on it when it gets close to the end cook time to not over cook
- Store in an air tight container for up to 3 days
