Healthy Broccoli & Cheese Tuna Meal
With only 3 ingredients this broccoli
and cheese tuna meal is so simple
and fast to make you won’t believe
how filling this healthy packed meal is.
I don’t really know if I can claim this as an actual recipe. It’s just that simple to make with so few ingredients it’s hard for me to classify it as a recipe. But this is my go to recipe for a quick lunch when I’m trying to eat on the healthy side.
This meal only consists of 240 calories, 15g carbs, 8.5g fat, 3.75g of sat fat and 25g of protein. Talk about low calorie and low carb meal with carbs that are just from broccoli which are good carbs. And look at all that protein. This is a well balanced meal for the health conscious.
All you simply do is heat the broccoli and cheese pack as the directions say on the box. While that is in the microwave open your tuna can and drain the juice. Once the broccoli is done empty it into a bowl. Be careful it will be hot.
Next add the tuna and the hot sauce to the bowl with the broccoli and stir. And that is it. You are ready to eat. It reminds me kind of like tuna noodle casserole without the noodles. I just love to have this for a quick and easy lunch. So enjoy!
Healthy Broccoli & Cheese Tuna Meal
Ingredients
- 10 oz Green Giant Broccoli & cheese sauce
- 1 can or pouch of tuna fish
- 1 TBSP of Louisiana hot sauce or any hot sauce
Instructions
- Heat Broccoli and cheese pack as directed on box
- Open tuna and drain the water
- Add the broccoli & cheese, tuna and hot sauce in a bowl and mix together
