Simple Garlic and Herb Salmon
This 4 ingredient garlic and herb
salmon is so simple and quick to
make. Perfect for dinner when you
don’t have a lot of time to cook.
So I’ve been trying to cook healthier things here lately because let’s face it it’s the holidays and it’s so easy to gain weight. I always have 3 different family dinners I have to go to for Thanksgiving and Christmas. So I get an overload of food.
My husband doesn’t like a lot of things when it comes to food, but he does love fish. Salmon is on top of that list of fish he likes. Me on the other hand I like it, but need it to be flavored with something to really enjoy it.
So with this recipe you can have dinner ready in under 15 minutes. A 1lb filet of salmon is what I found perfect for 2 people. Don’t forget the thicker the salmon the longer it takes to cook. Plus my husband swears the thinner salmon isn’t as dried out as the thicker pieces form cooking.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next melt your butter and olive oil in either a small saucepan or microwave. Brush the top of your salmon with the butter and olive oil mixture.
Then sprinkle the Old Bay with Garlic Herb Seasoning on top and now you’re ready to pop in the oven on a greased baking sheet. I like to cook with lemon slices on top. My husband rather skip the lemons.
Cook for 12-15 minutes and it’s ready to eat. Simple, right? The Old Bay with Garlic Herb Seasoning is the perfect about of flavor for the salmon in my opinion. So next time you are short on time and need a quick dinner give this recipe a try.
