spicy ranch potatoes

Here we go again with another ranch dressing flavored recipe. You know me and my ranch dressing. I cannot get enough of the stuff. So when I found out they had spicy ranch dressing seasoning, I about lost my mind.

Potatoes are a side item staple here in the south. Especially when it comes to my husband. He’s the epitome of steak and potatoes type man. So I’m always looking new way to cook potatoes.

Something that is also good is the simpler the better. As few as ingredients as possible and not complicated makes this recipe that much better.

I know these are called SPICY ranch potatoes, but the spicy is not to be scared of. These are not the it will burn your mouth type of spicy. This seasoning just adds a bit of extra flavor to the ranch dressing flavor.

All you have to do preheat your oven and get to cutting up your potatoes. You can do bite size pieces or have them like my husband and cut them even smaller. The smaller you make the pieces the faster they will cook.

I choose bite size for this recipe so the cooking time is for bite size pieces.

Add your potatoes to a bowl and pour in your olive oil and then sprinkle in the seasoning and mix together well.

Add some aluminum foil on top of your baking sheet if you want an easy clean up. Now just lay your potatoes out on your pan and pop in the oven.

I personally like to mix the potatoes around every 10-15 minutes so they can get an even cook. To check how they are cooking you can always take a fork and see how easily they are to pierce.

I always like to turn on the broil for a few minutes to give them a nice crunchy layer. Just be sure to watch them as they are broiling so you don’t burn them.

And that is it. Now you have a perfect side dish for any meal. You make these once and I guarantee you you will be making these again.
