With only 3 ingredients this easy air fryer salmon can be whipped up in 10 minutes for a quick and healthy dinner.

So what’s better than being able to make dinner quick and easy? Nothing, right? This easy air fryer salmon is just that. It’s easy, quick, and healthy.

What Should I Serve my Easy Air Fryer Salmon With?

  • You can never go wrong with accompanying salmon with a nice salad with a citrus type dressing
  • Grains– think a little outside of the box than plain ole white rice. Maybe a couscous salad like this citrus maple one from Day Time Vegan. Or this Quinoa and Brown Rice Asparagus Salad
  • Veggies– You can never go wrong with some veggies like this Spinach with Caramelized Onions or Balsamic Green Beans with Almonds

How to Store Cooked Salmon to Eat Later

After the salmon has completely cooled you can put it in an air tight container and keep it refrigerator for 3 days. This is great if you are doing meal planning for the week.

To freeze cooked salmon, after cooled put in a freezer bag or air tight container and keep in the freezer for 2-3 months.

Ingredients Needed for Easy Air Fryer Salmon:

  • Salmon– for this recipe I used around a pound and a half
  • Course Salt– I personally use Himalayan salt, but any course salt will do. The salt helps give the salmon a nice crust on top
  • Olive Oil Spray– or any cooking oil spray you prefer

Preparing the Salmon

Start by taking your filet of salmon on put it on a cutting board (Photo 1) and pat the salmon down with paper towels (Photo 2) to soak up any moisture.

Then slice the salmon into how many pieces (Photo 3) you are wanting to serve. When cutting them if you have the skin on watch out for scales coming off and just wipe off with the paper towels

Seasoning the Salmon

Take your course salt grinder (Photo 4) and start grinding the salt over the salmon (Photo 5) until you have a nice layer on the top of the salmon

Ready to Air Fry

Place to salmon pieces on your air fryer tray or basket (Photo 6) and take your olive oil spray (Photo 7) and spray a thin layer on the top of the salmon (Photo 8)

At 400 degrees cook the salmon 10-12 minutes just depending on the thickness of your salmon

Tips for Easy Air Fryer Salmon

  • Be sure to pat dry your salmon so the salt doesn’t instantly soak in
  • Use some sort of course salt. Regular salt will just dissolve before even getting it in the air fryer
  • You don’t have to use olive oil spray. Use which every spray you prefer
  • If you are unsure about if the salmon is cooked due to being thick just take a knife or fork and cut down the thickest part
  • You can also make this as one big piece of salmon and cut into pieces after cooking
  • If you want you can also add pepper on top of the salmon
