Spicy Ranch Oyster Crackers Recipe
This spicy ranch oyster crackers recipe is the perfect go-to snack that the whole family will enjoy. With only 4 ingredients and 25 minutes from start to finish, you can have these in no time.
I’m always looking for snack-type foods I can bring to parties. I love something simple, but also tasty. Two of my favorites are these Garlic Parmesan Pretzels and these Buffalo Ranch Pretzels.
What’s so great about these are they are a perfect snack for at home too. Plain ole crackers never really do it for me. I need some flavor.

Tips and Tricks
- I highly suggest using a plastic bag for mixing the crackers and mixture together. It causes less mess and a super-easy cleanup.
- After completely cooling you can store these in a Ziploc bag for a week.
- You can substitute oyster crackers for other similar crackers like saltines or goldfish. All taste great with the same recipe.
- The spicy ranch seasoning you should be able to pick up your local store, but if you can’t find it regular ranch dressing seasoning still tastes so great.
- Let the spicy ranch oyster crackers cool before serving. You can stir them around every 10 minutes or so to cool off faster.

Way too salty (not spicy) for us. We ended up throwing most of it out. I couldn’t find the Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch mix and subbed another brand. Perhaps that was the problem.
Sorry they didn’t turn out for you. Maybe the other brand has a higher sodium content than the hidden valley brand. And the “spicy” is from the name of the hidden valley mix. If you want more spice try adding cayenne pepper
Do you think this would work with Cheerios instead of oyster crackers?
I haven’t tried it, but I guess you could use a small amount to test it out. You probably wouldn’t want to soak the cheerios too much though
